Marybeth: Did VP Biden make you physically uncomfortable?

Last night while watching the vice presidential debate, I tweeted this:

I must have struck a nerve because I was retweeted 171 times, including by Sean Hannity! I made myself watch the entire thing because it felt like the right thing to do as an engaged citizen, and eventually, I just wanted to see if something really odd would happen, like maybe our illustrious Vice President standing on his chair doing the Macarena. Or maybe stripping naked like one of those deranged drug users we’ve been reading about lately.

Sorry. That’s not a mental image any of us wants to entertain.

This morning, the RNC has released an ad that pretty much sums up what made us all so uncomfortable last night. Check it out and be sure to share this post via Facebook and twitter. This ad needs to be seen by everyone who missed the debate:

  1. This is the man the Democrats chose to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. If that doesn’t make you shudder and lose sleep: the prospect of him interacting with world leaders and making momentous decisions that could change the course of world history… well, I really have to wonder about any individual in favor of Joe Biden for anything other than VP of rodeo clowns. Is that too judgemental?
